What a great honour to yet again be invited to Olveston & District Bowling Club in Old Down, as one of their many sponsors. It was an absolute pleasure seeing some old faces and lots of new ones. Myself and Nigel had a fantastic evening, we always enjoying chatting with everyone, we are always made to feel so welcome and the hot dogs were lovely – thank you so much to everyone. Another great turnout on our club night on the 20th May. It was sponsored by Phoenix Flooring, based in Thornbury, and Nigel and Michelle were on hand to present the winning rink with their prizes.
Congratulations go to Steve Gore, Mark Bayliss, Alan Lambourne and Jack Drysdale for producing the highest scoring shot difference on the night, well done to them.
Beattie produced another excellent batch of hotdogs that went down a treat and Dave Lewis jumped into covering the bar, thanks to both.
Trish was on her own as Ian was off into Bristol playing in a competition and I’ve got to say, the night was very well organised and she made it look so easy, well done Trish.😜
Members who have used Phoenix Flooring services have been delighted with the results. David Derham has had work completed in the Chantry in Thornbury while Geoff and Brenda Cook have had the flooring done when they moved into their bungalow.
